UNIFORMS COLLECTION

10 uniforms, including 9th Air Force personnel. Highlight is the uniform of Captain Jack Norton, who served at Boxted as a Signals Officer attached to the 354th FG. A recent addition is the jacket of 2nd Lt Edward Ellis, a pilot with the 56th FG operating from Boxted.

Archive film evening

Friday 11th September at 7.30pm in the Visitor Centre CO4 5NW.

The third in our very successful series exploring the history of the Airfield and the men’s experiences and how it affected the locals. 386 Bomb Group & B26 Marauder aircraft will feature. With archive film of Marauders in action, veterans interviews & Airfield operations.
