The 2026 season of Museum openings commences on Sunday 29th March, 10-4.

Then the last Sunday of every month until October. Suggested admission donation is £5 per adult accompanied children free.

Airfield walk Sunday 12th April.

Meet at museum walk starts 11am approx 2 hours, Museum will be open for 1 hour after walk. Tea & coffee included upon return. Walk will be lead by Richard Turner Historian & contributor to our book on Boxted's history, available from this site. Booking is essential on 07503952354 £8 per person

UNIFORMS COLLECTION

10 uniforms, including 9th Air Force personnel. Highlight is the uniform of Captain Jack Norton, who served at Boxted as a Signals Officer attached to the 354th FG. A recent addition is the jacket of 2nd Lt Edward Ellis, a pilot with the 56th FG operating from Boxted.
